Nearly 90% of Indonesians are Muslim. However, Christian communities exist in areas like Flores, Timor, and the Moluccas, with most being Protestant or Roman Catholic. In cities, many Chinese are Christian, though some follow Buddhism or Confucianism. Hindus, less than 2% of the population, are mainly in Bali and Lombok.
