This short film presents the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi, explains 11th century Ly Dynasty construction on remains of a 7th century fortress, and describes the citadel of long importance as a political center for Vietnamese dynasties. The film uses images of the site to show Hanoi historical status and its UNESCO World Heritage significance.
