Pinamalhan - Ilonggo Paksiw

The video is about how to make Pinamalhan, a dish of fish braised in vinegar and garlic until it's almost dry, and then topped with oil. The word "pinamalhan" comes from the Ilonggo word mala, which means "dry". It's similar to paksiw, but drier.  A Filipino dish made with fish, vinegar, garlic, peppercorns, salt, and other seasonings. The fish is cooked in the vinegar mixture until it is cooked through. Pinamalhan is a simple and easy dish to make. It is a great dish to serve to guests or to enjoy with family and friends.
