How reliable is the internet in Quy Nhon for remote work?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering staying in Quy Nhon for a while and working remotely during my stay.

How reliable is the internet there for everyday remote work, especially for video calls, uploading files, and working online for several hours a day?

I’d particularly like to know:

- Is home or apartment Wi-Fi generally stable?
- Are fiber internet connections widely available?
- Do you often experience internet outages or significant slowdowns?
- Is mobile data (4G/5G) reliable enough as a backup connection?
- Are there coworking spaces, internet cafés, or regular cafés with reliable Wi-Fi where you can work for a few hours?
- Are there any particular neighborhoods or areas in Quy Nhon that are better for remote workers?

I don’t necessarily need extremely fast internet, but I do need a connection that is stable enough for regular Zoom/Google Meet calls and daily work.

If anyone is currently living, studying, or working remotely in Quy Nhon, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and any recommended places to work online.

    Hi! In general, the internet in Quy Nhon is very good and should be more than enough for everyday remote work, including Zoom/Google Meet, uploading files, and working online for several hours a day.

    4G/5G is also quite reliable, similar to other parts of Vietnam, so it can work well as a backup connection.

    For apartments, I’d recommend testing the Wi-Fi before agreeing to rent. If you need a faster or more stable connection, you can also ask the landlord to install a new fiber connection. This is generally quite easy to arrange.

    Quy Nhon does have some coworking spaces and cafés where you can work, although there aren’t as many as in bigger cities. If you stay around Vina2 Panorama, that area is relatively quiet and comfortable for remote work, and there are also some work-friendly cafés nearby.

    There are also quite a few expats living in Quy Nhon and working remotely, so you won’t be the only one doing this. Overall, I think Quy Nhon is a pretty comfortable place for remote workers, especially if you choose your apartment and internet connection carefully.
