Silliman University

Silliman University is a private research university in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines. It was founded in 1901 by American Presbyterian missionaries at Silliman Institute. and is the first American University in the country and the oldest university on Negros Island. It is a member of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA).

Foundation University

Foundation University is a private non-sectarian university located in Dumaguete City, Philippines. It was established on August 15, 1949, by pioneers who envisioned an institution that would nurture individuals to grow into competent professionals, productive citizens, and responsible leaders. The University has two campuses: North Campus along Locsin Street and South Campus along Perdices Extension.

St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD)

St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) is a private non-profit Catholic University in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines. It was founded on July 26, 1911, by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres (SPC).  It is the first university in Dumaguete and the oldest Paulinian school in Asia. The University is a member of the Association of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (ACUCP) and the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP). 

Negros Oriental State University (NORSU)

Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) is a state university located in Dumaguete City, Philippines. It was established on January 8, 1945, by Commonwealth Act No. 327 and started offering degree programs on June 16, 1946. It is mandated to provide advanced instruction in the arts and sciences, normal and technical education, teacher training, and other relevant fields. The University has two campuses: The Main Campus along Hibbard Avenue which houses the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Education, Engineering, and Architecture as well as most of the University's administrative offices; and the South Campus located at Bagacay Point which houses the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Studies including its Demonstration Farm. Negros Oriental State University is a member-institution of the University of the Philippines System.
